Makeup With Rising Phoenix

Dear lovelies, yes the Product of the Month is now ready for purchase. We started creating eyeshadows first, in the month of February in 2010. Hence, to commemorate that, we will kickstart our Product of the Month, this February.

As the name suggests, the Product of the Month can be an eyeshadow, blusher or any other exciting makeup product that we have created. But it will only be available for that particular month, while stocks last. It will be a speciality item, hence there won’t be samples available for it. Eyeshadows will come in 5gram jars, Blushers and Finishing Powders will come in 10gram jars.

*Description*

Hephaestus is a loose, metallic eyeshadow with a strong silver base, with blue, gold, and copper highlights. The highlights will be revealed, depending on the direction of the light on the eyeshadow.

It is inspired by the Greek God Hephaestus, the God for Metals, Fire, Sculptors, Blacksmiths. Instead of going for the usual fiery look for him, we decided to focus on a cool, metallic look.

It is a versatile product, which can also be used as a highlight for the browbone and cheekbones for the more adventurous make-up users =)

Inspired by fairytale and legendary villains, we decided to focus on the femme fatales, who often had a crucial role in the tales they were in, sometimes altering the course of the storyline due to their cruel intentions and mean ways 😉

Good news for those who prefer using pressed shadows =)

We now offer our loose shadows in pressed form!

All you need to do, is to inform us on the colors you would like pressed, and the colors you would like to have in loose form.

When pressed, the eyeshadows may appear to have a slight shimmer sheen on top, but the color payoff will just be the same as their loose eyeshadows.

Pressed eyeshadows will come in 23mm tin pan. These pans can be placed in any palette of your choice. Since they are tin pans, they will adhere well to magnetic palettes.

Here’s a look at our recent order from our lovely customer.She had requested for all her eyeshadows to be pressed. Her order consisted of 4 matte shadows and 1 shimmer shadow.

This will give you a better idea on how the pressed shadows, and their loose shadows look like  =)

Just as the title suggests, we have some colors, which have a similar color payoff, or if not, more pigmented than certain high end brands’ shades.

Here are two more looks, using Rising Phoenix Eyeshadow Pigments =)

For the first look, finishing powder Asintmah was used as a highlight, by lightly buffing it along the eyebrow bone.

Yes, our finishing powders can also be used as a highlight, by those who prefer a matte highlight.

These finishing powders can be blended with the eyeshadows to remove harsh lines.

But to reveal the true intensity of the colors, we did not blend the eyeshadows.

The colors are even more vibrant in person, than in the pictures! =)

To reveal the vibrancy of the eyeshadows’ colors, we decided not to blend them. But to leave each eyeshadow stark on the eye, to show you the contrast.

We had taken the pictures using handphone cameras. Hence the pictures do not do justice to the colors, as they appear even more vibrant when seen in person!

We are from sunny Singapore, make-up lovers, who strive to provide affordable high quality make-up at a fraction of the cost, when compared to high-end make-up brands.

Rising Phoenix Eyeshadow Pigments was a brain-child of ours, as we were thinking of providing beauty to our clients without them having to break a bank. Affordable, vibrant, lasting eyeshadows without compromising on the quality – where they can be comparable with high-end eyeshadows for color payoff and long lasting ability.

It was then we started experimenting with FDA approved ingredients to create our very own unique eyeshadows, and our efforts paid off, resulting in many unique shades of eyeshadows. Today, we also have finishing powders and blushes in our collection. Since we started off with creating eyeshadows, the name ‘Rising Phoenix Pigments’ remained.

We decided to create each batch of eyeshadows to be theme-inspired, where each color of that batch uniquely ties in with the theme that it has been created after.

*What makes us unique*

All the eyeshadow pigments have been formularized and created by us with love, based on our own recipes. As buyers of only animal-cruelty free beauty products, all our ingredients are cruelty-free and vegan-friendly. All the ingredients used are FDA approved, hence they are approved as eye-safe, NOT lip-safe.

These pigments are NOT your regular pressed eyeshadows where you will have to dab your eyeshadow brush repeatedly into the product, to get the desired color. These are loose eyeshadow pigments. A teeny dab onto the pigment will give you the same effect.

*Uses*

These pigments especially the pink-hued ones can be used as blush (used sparingly). These are safe to be used on the face, but we do not recommend lips, since there is no FDA approval for that.

Like all pigments, use an eyeshadow primer prior to applying the pigment to get best results before you pat on the pigment. This will give you an eye-popping eye color 🙂
